As part of Veterinary Nurse Awareness month, we are introducing you to one of our nurses and showing you a behind the scenes day in the life of her differing job roles.

We have various photos of our Registered Veterinary Nurse, Bryher. You will see Bryher both at the St Columb hospital and at the Bodmin surgery.

Bryher qualified in November 2014 with a foundation degree and has a particular interest in caring for hospitalised patients and dental surgery.

At home she has two dogs, Poppy and Blue, as well as two cats, Harvey and Dave.

Today, Bryher has been our kennel nurse. With this role, she is responsible for multiple aspects of nursing care including giving medications, feeding and walking patients, cleaning kennels, admitting and discharging patients and recovering patients post operatively.

Here are a few photos of her day.
