Meet our Vet Nurses
Danielle Moore – RVN
Danielle started working towards her qualification in 2001 here in Cornwall and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2007.
She enjoys all aspects of her nursing but has a real interest in the surgical side of her duties and would like to achieve the surgical nursing certificate in the future.
Danielle is married and has 2 children also at home there are 3 cats Neville, Charlie and Scamp and 2 Guinea pigs Daisy and Polly. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family.
Danielle joined Penmellyn in 2016 to be a part of the team at the Bodmin branch.
Lucy Wharmby – RVN
Lucy qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2005 after moving to Cornwall from Northamptonshire. She especially enjoys running nurse clinics, meeting clients and their pets to offer advice and treatment.
She is married and has two children and enjoys spending family time together with them, including her two dogs, one cat and several chickens!
Lucy joined Penmellyn in 2016 to be part of the team at our Bodmin branch.
Bryher Smeeth – RVN
Bryher qualified in November 2014 with a foundation degree in veterinary nursing.
She has a particular interest in caring for hospitalised patients and dental surgery.
Bryher has two dogs a springer and cocker called Poppy and Blue, and two cats called Harvey and Dave. In her spare time she enjoys horse riding, long dog walks and spending time with friends and family.
Tracy James – RVN
Tracy has worked in various types of practice from general to referral small animal, bird and exotic centres throughout the UK and New Zealand.
She particularly enjoys inpatient and intensive care nursing.
Tracy moved to Cornwall in 2016, and in her spare time enjoys being outdoors in the garden or surfing, paddle boarding and exploring the Cornish coastline with her fiancé and 2 working cocker spaniels Sprout and Bud.
